Lust
Lust seen as thoughts or desire of a sexual nanture.
Gluttony
Seen as the over-indulgence to the point of waste.
Greed
Can be seen similar to lust and gluttony by being excessive in nature. However, the difference is to the excessive desire to pursue and accumulate wealth.
Sloth
Can be interpreted in two ways, the first, relating to wasting ones talents or gifts. Secondly, regarding laziness and indifference being at the heart of the problem.
Wrath
Referred to as rage or anger or the ones who are unable to control their emotions.
Envy
Similar to greed but applied in more general terms. Secondly, resentment may build toward other individuals over material goods.
Pride
Believed to be the ultimate source from which the other six sins may arise. Considered to be the most serious of sins.
